General Allergen Information
  • At Trenchers Catering, every item we produce is labelled clearly and prepared with strict controls to protect customers with allergies and dietary requirements. All allergen information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge and based on supplier specifications.



We follow the 14 legally recognised food allergens, which are:

Celery, Cereals containing Gluten (Wheat, Barley, Rye, Oats), Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Soybeans, Sulphur Dioxide/Sulphites, and Tree Nuts.


How We Manage Allergens

We operate a busy commercial kitchen where multiple allergens are present daily. To minimise risk, we:

• Use supplier-verified ingredient lists
• Keep allergen-specific preparation areas where possible
• Maintain staff allergen training
• Label all products with allergen declarations
• Clean and sanitise equipment between uses

Despite these controls, cross-contact can never be fully ruled out.


Important Customer Notice

If you or someone in your group has a severe allergy, please inform us at the time of ordering so we can advise if a safe option is available. Some items may be unsuitable for customers with serious allergies due to the nature of commercial preparation.

We can provide allergen and ingredient information for every platter, box, salad, sandwich, canapé, and bakery itemon request.
